PAP2 VOIP adapter setup with MTNL broadband

During my last visit to Bombay I have setup voip at my parents house.
The services that are currently configured are voiptalk.org and sipgate.co.uk
Both the services work perfectly fine.
The setup is really easy.

Things that I used to setup voip service

By default MTNL charges monthly rent of Rs 80 for the broadband router. So to avoid this charge I bought my own D-Link 802c router and configured it. So this was to setup the router.

My next step was to get the voip adapter online

I purchased a D-link 8 port switch and got this connected. I then connected the voip adapter to the switch, configured the voip services and hurray all the lights were instantly ON. Tested by making phone calls.

If anybody needs any help on how to configure Linksys PAP2 VOIP adapter with MTNL broadband then let me know.

Now we make local calls from UK to India and vice-a-versa. A bit of Money saving in the credit crunch.

My next project will be to configure my UK SPA-3102 with Voxalla services...
